Will we ever know the best way forward for our cholesterol levels?
I know that statins create problems for some of us, that women's levels are naturally higher after the menopause, that the ideal levels we seem to be striving for are based on the levels of a fit and healthy 21 year old male, that some people have a family history of high cholesterol, that cholesterol levels vary throughout the day,............the list seems endless.
Have just found this study that suggests that raising the Good Cholesterol (HDL) for certain groups may not be the way forward.
