My DN detected high blood pressure and told me I was to have an ECG at my local surgery and a chest X-ray at my local hospital to see if I had a heart. These two venues are about 10 miles apart. I did all that this morning and I was out of the house for a total of 2 hours.

It all seems a bit unreal and I will wake up shortly. I left the surgery with a card for the walk in X-ray dept. I took the decision to go there directly and was gob smacked to find the car park half empty. I don't ever remember that happening. Straight to the receptionists, a five minute sit down and my name was called.

I expected a long morning and planned a takeaway but they weren't open that early.

Pinch me someone. This must be a dream.

Sometimes.......just sometimes...things work out well. Don't get used to it, though.

That's not nice, will possibly raise your blood pressure, but hope all turns out well,
A few more pills should sort it out

Sounds as if your letter to the the surgery receptionist paid off. could be wedding bells that caused a rise in bp.
Hope the results are all OK.
Mind you I could have told you that you have a heart, "when it suits you."

Good luck with the results Squire.

wow that's efficient! Good luck with the results!

Someone may be looking over me but I don't think it's the receptionist. It is mildly concerning that things went so well in case it all went through on an "urgent " button. I have no reason for concern though (cough cough)

The receptionist is already married but I am willing to forego that impediment.

I am beginning to think that Izzzi knows me from somewhere else since he seems to know me very well.

It was a dream. Last time I went to a hospital it took me 2 hours to park.
