Timolol eye drops

I have been having unexplained high bgs for no apparent reason my bgs have steadily climbed over a last couple of weeks and I realised that this has been after applying the eye drops for raised pressure on my left eye I have done some research and found that they are beta blockers but I can't find much information about them can anyone help ?
