I have type 2 diabetes and my toes are especially cold and tingly. Also hair on one side if my leg had disappeared. Any thoughtd

I'd get to the doctors if I were you as these are the symptoms they look out for on my foot check-ups.

Both are fairly common side effects of diabetes:

While the hair is unlikely to grow back, getting your blood glucose under control may help with the neuropathy.

Many people find the neuropathy recedes the longer they have good control of their blood glucose levels - that has been my own experience. In fact, I can usually tell if I've eaten a meal that has pushed my blood glucose over 8.0 because I will start to get the burning sensation in my toes again. When I was first diagnosed, about half my feet felt numb/tingly, as if they were cold and immersed in hot water all the time - over the past 9 months the feeling has receded till now only the very tips of my toes occasionally feel tingly.

As Sam says, if you haven't had a foot checkup with your surgery, it's a good idea to have one done.
