It could be anything but whatever it is you need to get it looked at again as soon as possible. We have to really look after our feet.
Maybe you cracked a small bone in one of your toes and it has got infected. Even if it isn't anything to do with your diabetes I suggest you get it looked at again as soon as you can without delay.
Are you Type 1, 2 or other? How well have your sugar levels been over the past few weeks!
Please get it looked at today at some point.
Your blood sugar doesn't seem high enough to be an urgent problem but I'm afraid your toe injuries and slow healing are. I recommend you get a doctor to check them as soon as you can.I do blood tests from time to time. just tested a few hrs ago about 3 hrs after dinner I ate sphaggetti boiled & fried like fried noodles with chicken & bitter gourd with chicken, did not use metformin this time, and results was 5.4-ig, Previously when I did blood tests sometimes it's high while around 7 - 8 in the morning , sometimes it's around 6. depending on what I ate & drank at dinner, I was using metformin 850mg slow release only twice daily.
Your bs readings sound good. Are you Type 1 or 2? If you are diabetic how long have you had the condition?
Your foot problems could be due to diabetic neuropathy. The feet are usually one of the first places to show complications as gravity leads to thicker sugary blood concentrating there. But it could be due to other reasons.
When I was diagnosed my dn advised me to wear trainer type footwear, and to wear shoes indoors to protect my feet.
As others have said you need to consult a doctor asap.
