Hello,

My preprandial blood glucose is 109. (Normal level : 70-100)
My triglycerides is 285. (Normal level : 50-150)

I am trying to lower my blood glucose level.
I found 5 precautions :

1) Maintain a Healthy Weight
2) Limit Refined Carbs
3) Drink Less Alcohol
4) Reduce Unhealthy Fats
5) Get More Omega 3s

Additionally ;
I am trying to lower my triglycerides level.
I found same 5 precautions again.

What is the link between the 2 parameters (triglycerides and blood glucose) ?

If precautions against these 2 parameters are completely the same , What is the link between the 2 parameters ??

Hi Selim

This might shed some light on your question: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Metabolic_syndrome

From memory...excess glucose is converted into triglycerides for storage. Is this the link you're looking for?
