Life is too short for dislikes.
I have been prescribed Trulicity 1.5mg by my Diabetes Clinic. I had my first dose on Saturday and I can honestly say I feel awful. I appreciate there are side effect in the first two weeks. I also understand Trulicity will make you feel full. But I have nit been able to keep anything down and we are now at Wednesday. Any advice or tips very gratefully received.

The side effects should subside, but I find I have to be very careful what I eat and drink on days 2&3. Indigestion tablets help.
However expect to suffer if you have anything too sweet, it will be expelled!

Thank you so much. I actually live in Ireland now and it was the Diabetes Clinic at my local hospital that prescribed the Trulicity. Been struggling to get any advice from them over the last few days so this info has been invaluable. The indigestion tablets make so much sense as I took some yesterday and I did start to feel better. I managed to eat this morning which is a first really since Saturday and I am starting to feel a bit normal. Thank god I am not a sweet tooth person

I’m in Ireland, too, and on Trulicity for about 3 years now. The first couple of weeks can be notoriously rough, but hang in there - I had constant nausea and feeling like I was going to throw up, but I never actually did and it wore off. I’m very happy with the Trulicity now, as I’m much more keen on a weekly injection than the three tablets a day I was taking before that (less to remember!), plus my pre-existing digestive issues have hugely improved once I got over the initial hump.
