The nausea is supposed to pass over time as you get used to the medication. The medication, like Ozempic and the rest of the GLP- 1 group of medicines, does indeed reduce appetite, which is some of them are also being prescribed - in some instances in higher doses and under different names, such as Victoza and Saxenda - for weight loss. If you aren't overweight and the side effects you mentioned do not pass, you would be advised to let your GP and care team know.
