If you have been taking this for 3 Years without any change in your Blood Glucose Levels Either you Need to Change your Diet and Exercise Routine or Change your Medicine if after reading all the Dietary Info on this forum you decide you need to change your eating habits Its not easy but it is Possible when you decide you want/need to do it, There is no medicine you can take that allows you to eat what you want If your diet is ok then Talk To Your Doctor about Change
Do you self test your blood Sugar if Not recommend that you get a meter and read on this forum how to use it it will definitely help you decide on your Food choices as it will highlight the bad food and help you make informed decisions. If you do use a meter then please tell us you readings and when you use as this will help us focus our advice

I was on trulicity for six months starting at .75 and going up to 1.50 .slight sugar reduction but seemed like Victosa to be less effective on the higher dose. Lots of hard stools and tender abdomen especially the two days prior to the next injection .Had to come off last week due to those issues and they are going to try something different. Not sure either trulicity or Victosa made much difference to my sugars over the six months .I am 68 so steadying to feel I am a guinea pig for new drugs

Yes it could be your diet if you do not mind roughly what is your weight, the thing is a lot of Type 2 diabetics will not face the truth, if you are seriously over weight you will never get your blood sugars down,
I change by turning my eating habits up side down,
I have a genetic type diabetes both my parents families have diabetes which is rare so the chances of me not getting it was never going to happen,
So my father as far as we can remember did not have diabetes but he would carry it in his gene’s,
My mother is diabetic but would not listen when i started nursing, but it did not surprise me she never wanted me in the first place,
But i was not going to repeat history so i basically turned my life up side down and it is working,
I have been put on the same injection as you are on, but my blood sugars are getting down to a lot lower readings, hopefully this new injection will help me put it where i want it to be,
But it all starts with your weight bring that down and you have half the battle won, but you need to be honest with yourself.
