Or if you want a no carb chocolate drink make cocoa with hot water then add double cream, and sweetener if wanted. No carbs with cream like there is with milk
Morning Rowan, I'm fairly new to diabetes and trying lchf. Should I be limiting the amount of cream of cream I'm using? I'm already putting it in my two daily coffees but I'm really missing chocolate!

I use double cream in one, occasionally two, coffees a day and a cocoa at bedtime. And I put some in if I'm making an omelette.
I've only been low carbing for just under 2 months and when my weight plateaud for a few weeks I was worried I was eating too much fat so changed my double to single cream and cut back on other fats and spent a couple of weeks feeling really ill, shaky, weak, dizzy, so I changed back to double and increased fat again and I got better and the weight loss started again!
Of course it might have been a coincidence, but it might have been low carbs and low fat, which doesn't work. I still struggle with the concept of full fat after a lifetime of being told low-fat, but it definitely works somehow, so I wouldn't worry about adding another creamy drink, enjoy!
If you are trying LCHF then you will soon appreciate how fat satiates you more efficiently than carbs so when you are full you stop (it's not a case of shovelling half a pound of butter down your throat).
It is counter-intuitive when you first look at it but only because as you say we have been brainwashed for decades.
Drink plenty of water and be aware of calories if you are managing your weight.
Have you got Trudi Deakin's new book (link below)? It's a good primer that explains most of this clearly, as well as the dietdoctor website.
It does go against the grain at first, but I found the more I read the more I became convinced even though I didn't really understand the science. I've been concentrating on my BG more than my weight, but I've lost around a stone too, easiest weight loss I've ever had!
All those lovely things we denied ourselves for so many years, butter, cream, egg mayo with full fat Hellmann's, cheese, bacon, extra butter on veg, more than makes up for no bread, rice, cereals etc
There are links for two books in my signature, both really helpful when starting out, and the Diet Doctor link which is also helpful. And of course the low carb forum on here.
