Trying to work out insulin doses

I been told I've got to start working out my doses of insulin but I've read the booklet and had I look on here and other sites but I just carnt work it out can someone me please

You don't say what insulin you are taking or what type of diabetes you have, if your type 1 on basal/bolus then you should find the following useful:

Also (again if your type 1) I would highly recommend the book Think Like a Pancreas by Gary Schiener.
