Tummy upset I think......

I have a bit of a rough time in Metformin. I can go for days and its all fine and then wham......this evening it is very much worse and, my feeling is it might be some sort of tummy upset. (I am a teacher so we pick up a lot of bugs). Us there anything I need to be aware of? Do I continue to take meds as usual? What if I can't eat? This is a first for me, just 12 weeks into T2. Ibfeel pretty rough at the moment. Last BG was 7.2.

@6cats - Hi. You could go back to your GP and tell him/her of the upset you are experiencing on the ordinary Metformin, and ask for the Slow Release Metformin which is much kinder to body.
