Kat, are you watching the other drama on the BBC called From There to Hear, it's the final episode tomorrow night and it's as good as Happy Valley.....well nearly.
Thanks for the info noblehead, I watched the first episode last night and am watching the second now, at 6.40 in the morning. glad I've got on demand, and you're right, this one is Almost as good as Happy Valley, but as Sarah Lancashire is my favourite actress, it has to come second to that. I would have missed it though if you hadn't mentioned it on here, so, thanks.

Wish there was more dramas like this instead of the same old repeats.

Blankey's yes! We call them that too, we are in our 60's and I reckon we are regressing to childhood. We visit the toiley and the cats names are very odd sometimes. Oh dear, oh dear.........but we do have such fun

And my anti wrinkle cream helps as well X

On BBC 2 now, The tobacco Industry, advertising and smoking, looks interesting.

Hi rod
What a lovely story I read it with great interest .

Thanks Kat - they were all a major part of our lives for many years and they won't be forgotten. I know this is a thread about TV but I can put some photos up of them if you like.

I call them 'blandins'. "Good girl,Tabby, (cool name), curl up on your blandin!"
The thread hasn't been hijacked, it's just that TV and cats co-exist pretty well.

I see George Gently is on tonight at 8.30pm BBC1 @ 8.30pm so I might watch that, no Spring Watch tonight but can't wait for Autumn Watch
Has anyone seen the fledgling Blue **** on Spring Watch? as I rescued one last Sunday morning in our back garden and returned him to mum and dad later that afternoon, so Bluey was safe and sound. I will try and upload a couple of photo's of 'Bluey' he was cute

This is the rescued Blue Tit 'Bluey'. When we put him out at the top of the garden he went to hide in the rockery then mum, dad and another sibling flew down and he flew awkwardly onto the fence, then the Honeysuckle trellis and mum and dad were feeding him, we came in and watched from the large window and soon the whole family flew up into the tree's. It was such a magical moment to be able to watch this lovely and sweet family. My own Spring watch, just feet away, so beautiful
