Type 1 and metformin?

A simple one, that I personally believe, more insulin more weight, and it was certainly true in my case.

Me too. In a month since I started to inject my insulin again after many years of not doing so and years of looking like a skinny junkie, I have put on 12kg! and feel much better for it

I'm Type 2 and I have been for 13 years now, (although on my last review/check he said I was type 1) so I'm not totally sure now which I am, I take several pills along side my Insulin I have 2000mg of Metformin a day that's X2 in the morning with my breakfast and X2 in the evening with my evening meal and I have also just been given Lingiliptin to take in the morning as my BS levels had started to rise again I take 56 units or NovaMix 30 insulin of an evening and 54 units in the morning it used to be 48 and 48 years ago lol I found that the metformin has helped stablise my B'S now

I have started on the metformin, so far so good. Fingers crossed it will help stabilize things.
