My name is Charlotte and I'm 15 years old. I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes on 13th August this year so I'm still fairly new to it all! I'd really like to talk to more people with diabetes so feel free to leave me a message!
 
Hey Charlotte, I'm Becky, I'm 22 and was diagnosed 7 months ago. How are you getting on with it all?
 
That's good always such a nice feeling to get things in range!! If you ever need any advice or support this is a great place to come
 
Hi Charlotte, my son is also 15 and he was diagnosed on 15 th August, about the same time as you. He is coping well now. I did some changes in the diet and his blood sugar is ok
 
He is on Novorapid three times a day and Lantus b4 sleep but his units have reduced now.

i'm an oldie but I was diagnosed when I was 14 ( august 14th )so have an understanding of the issues you face.

Hi Charlotte -- up until 3 weeks ago i was lantus and novorapid ( for 18 years ) so anything i can help with happy to help
don't struggle alone

( on an omnipod pump for the last 3 weeks )
 
Hi Charlotte , what is your current insulin units per day ? Have you checked for GAD and ICA?
Always check your blood sugar b4 sleep. If low have a snack.
 
Hi Charlotte. I'm 23 and been type 1 diabetic for 11 years now. I'm new to the forum but would be happy to answer any questions you may have. It's nice to talk to someone who also has diabetes even though family and friends are supportive xx
