I believe the health board has set up a new virtual system for clinics, where we have the usual checks done by healthcare assistants, then discuss the results, a fortnight later, with our consultant by phone or computer.
I have seen no one about my diabetes since December 2019. I just wondered if the virtual clinics have actually begun. How long after your last appointment did you receive a new one, and did you actually speak to your consultant?
I believe (last summer??) a letter was sent out to patients, telling them about the new system, but I didn't receive one. Did you?
I think there is a new e-mail address for contacting DSNs or other members of staff, but I don't know it, and my DSN hasn't replied to my last message. Can someone please tell me this new address?
