Okay, so here's an interesting point of view on dawn phenomenon. It's not something I get. I've been T1 more than 20 years and I simply don't see this flood of hormone induced glucose in my bs readings.
It may simply be that my body has got used to not having a flood of insulin at the start of day.
I'm also not entirely convinced that insulin doesn't always counter liver dump situations. I have certainly seen them happening but I'm certain that I have successfully treated them. In this matter I relate to going to the gym and seeing post weights increases.
I think that a vast amount more research is needed if we want to really understand this, but it's not something one or two of us can state that what we have seen must be the truth of the matter.
