Welcome - This is pretty much the best place online for any type of tips or support. Stop in every couple days, or whenever you have an issue and there is usually a bunch of knowledgeable folks around willing to lend a hand!

@Diamattic thank you! I've found the forum to be a great support network already and it's only been a few days
 
Low carb high FAT diet I always hear and read that that diet is not good for type 1s because FAT causes insulin Resistance

Nope, fat kind of slows down the breakdown of any carbs.. It can also make one feel a little fuller too?
