Have been diagnosed type 1 over 4 years ago. Still struggling to accept it all, but can anybody help ?
Back of legs attain some very sore aches/pain, and sometimes back of hands and on a bad day pain in joints and muscles.
Lost 2 stone and cannot put weight on, hence lossof muscle and strength.
I take 16 units of Levemire in am with all my meds and Novo-rapid of 8 units with every meal and compensation of 2NR units over levels of 8
I suffer from bad depression, stress and anxiety and feel pretty hopeless with T1 onboard.
Simple and baby steps involved here.....please be patient.
I surely cannot be the only one !

What is your bg control like? If you haven't done so already your best bet is to have the pain investigated by your gp or diabetes consultant, it may/may not be diabetes related, it's difficult to say.

You definitely are not the only one who has felt like this. I know its hard but 26 years of having T1 has taught me to take it one day at a time. You have bad days, you have good days, what helps is accepting the good and bad. Worrying about things usually only makes thinks worse with blood sugar levels. Hang in there, take one thing at a time and things will improve.
