But not every Type 2 can control their blood sugars. I am not overweight, I am very active, we have a farm so physical work. I do an hour of additional exercise every day. I don't eat junk, I have a very healthy diet. I don't drink alcohol and my lows are not reactive lows. Up until a few years ago I was a competitive long distance runner. I can't control my sugars. Every time I try to reduce my carbs I have hypos, serious ones too, as low as 1.9 at night and after I exercise. I have to manage them. So with due respect that is a massive assumption. I don't want my post to sound shirty, I'm just saying.
