Hi,
I'm Jenny, 34, living in Surrey.
I was diagnosed with Type 2 over 10 years ago, and have mostly had good control on metformin.
A couple of years ago I needed a little extra help, and have been on gliclazide, rosiglitazone, and up until today Byetta, since January 09. I've had a fair amount of weightloss on Byetta - 10kg, but struggle sometimes with the twice daily injections due to convenience etc. My practice nurse has decided to commence me on Victoza, which I collect from the pharmacy tonight.
I struggle with motivating myself regarding diet and exercise - I have some very bad habits regarding both, and most of the time don't have the motivation to make any changes. Any help from anyone, including a kick up the backside, would be most gratefully received!

Hi Jenny
there are always people here willing to help.
You were very young to be a T2.
Where are you finding it difficult to get motivated?
Is it with monitoring or diet and exercise, or something else?
look around the boards and you'll find a load of information or just ask a specific question. there's a good chance someone will know the answer.
