Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

Did you have breakfast? If not then it counts as a morning fasting test.
I did have breakfast, in the form of a delicious chocolate slim fast (yummy), so not a fasting test, that was 6.2., 2 hrs post first shake was 8.4, 2 hrs post lunch one 6.4. Been on NP 2 weeks and 2 days.

6.3 have been in the 6's all week, not doing anything different so wondering if heat, new testing sticks or a combination of both?

A bit late, but here we go:
-morning fast 6.5
-2 hrs after breakfast 5.4
-before lunch 5.7
-2hrs after supper 6.2
Been for a swim today, again, and proud to notice that weight went from 125.7 to 122.9 in a bit more than a week, since I started the LCH diet. I'm on 2x Metformin 1000 mg ER, and 1x Forxiga 10 mg. Monday due for diabetes clinician appointment:-o

4.8 this morning. Excellent workout yesterday in the sunny open air.

Pleased my council tax is used in a way that I really feel the benefits from.

Gym type equipment installed in my local park.
Same here, as they upgraded the leisure centre, and we have much more of the Be Active/free swim and gym times:-D

Sunday 6.15am 4.0mmol/L. Not allowed out today,at least, not alone, while BP is so erratic.
Looking forward to a walk in the Arboretum later.

Be well today, everyone

Wow that's quite low I felt horrible this morning when mine was down low, but am OK now. Hope your BP calms down

Something dodgy about those figures - peanuts are peanuts. If there is a big difference in the typical carb content it's likely to be a mistake.
Yep - confirmed aldi chilli nuts 6.4 carbs. Normal salted 14g - go figure!

Hi, loulou, sorry you feel bad when you are low, do you eat something nice to get higher?
4 mmmol/L seems ok for me, since I finished the Newcastle D, but the BP has suddenly become a big problem, since I had an episode of AF, was hospitalised and given too much medication which has destabilised my rhythms.
Now it is a question of getting the dosage right - easier said than done. But at least I'm at home. It could be worse. And people on this forum are so kind and supportive

hotter than the sun
Need blue cheese dip and celery to put the fire out

In fairness it does have a warning on the label - not suitable for those with heart problems, children or pets but can be used as a paint stripper! I have a love hate relationship with it!

Plus it's better than celery - that's the devil's veg.
Really!
I'm a recent convert to the Church of Celery.... who knew it was going to be the base of my lunch for the last 9 months... it's the first item into my lunch pot....
so take care wot you say about celery.

Ah nasty hope they can get your meds right. I hate it when they play around with my meds cause it just knocks me out. I had a bowl of chocolate porridge for breakie and some toast when I got to work. My sugars have been OK during the day I think we might have some playing around with the insulin. I am going to ring the nurse on Monday cause I have got my diabetic eye screening on Tuesday at the same hospital. Let's hope we can get things sorted between us. Take care Merrylizard

dare I say, not all nuts are the same..... or is that the red wine talking....
Nope. I have been amazed by the difference in nuts. Generally I look for single
Figures but they do vary from 4 to 15! sainsburys salt and cider vinegar at under 5gs are my go to.

That's not to say I have overdone it on the 'medication' tonight.
