Type 2's: What was your fasting blood glucose in a morning?

5.1 this morning though I did have a 4.9 before evening meal so going in the right direction
 
Morning all 5.9 got to give up the fags ,throat is killing me this morn.
 
5.7 this morning. Caused no doubt by the "eat as much as you want" buffet at an Indian restaurant yesterday afternoon. I did. It was wonderful.

Reality check this morning with a 7.1 after a series of nice 5s and even a 4.9. I could blame a very restless night with little sleep or the antibiotics I'm on, but in reality there was too much snacking on nuts over the weekend, large portions and the rain kept my activity plans in check. Weight has stayed at 11st 8.5lbs for over a week now though, though I really want it to reduce a bit more.
 
6.4 mmol / L this morning.
8.0 mmol / L at bed time.

Not bad at all. Especilly when considering I tested past the time of my dawn phenomenon. Also, I consumed 148g of carbs yesterday - albeit in a controlled manner. Bed time was just after 11pm but, it wasn't a great night's sleep.

So, all in, a pleasing result.
 
4.9 for me this morning. haven't managed to stop losing weight yet - I think I'm so determined not to let it creep up again that I'm not eating enough to stop losing it
