Put it on to watch, well the timer, but was outside doing the dogs when it came in and only just back in. Plus 8 outdoors here

Yep. God's design (no religious intent here) just did NOT get the years right in terms of the time they deserve to spend with us. Just close your eyes for some quiet moments and imagine the dog you had in your young years was still with you now.

Think about that ....... what an AMAZING world it would be with far less grief, lots more fun and growing old together

We'll I've found I can get away with 2 slices seeded sensations - either version, but 2 home baked slices have put.me up 3 (to 8.9) after 2 hrs and I did try to cut thinner than my doorsteps of old. Ah, well, now I know! Test in ano hr, see what happens. Had my fasting been lower I'd still have been under the radar tho obvs still too spiked

Not brilliant rod, sleeping a lot though so I guess that could help more, due back at gp Wednesday to hopefully start investigating the cause more. Think they now see that to be so low and like this at 15 1/2 isn't exactly right!!
 
Back down to 4.3. Seem to be getting a template now for what I need to do and eat every day to get a fasting level in the 4's. Challenge is to make it into a routine and not let it lapse.

9.1 this morning. I'm not awake enough to do it straight away and have usually faffed about a bit before settling down, so I'm just assuming that it is a bit lower first thing
 
6.0 for me this morning - must have been the small bit of Christmas cake I ate just before going to bed last night!
 
We'll update in the toast (fasting 5.9, post brekky 8.9) down to respectable 5.6 post 3hrs. Low carb lunch now I think, starving

Hope things pick up soon. Teenage mental health is often overlooked by the medical profession despite it being one of the times we are most vulnerable to problems. I'd insist on a referral to the adolescent mental health team for appropriate care as GPs often know next to nothing about correct emotional and pharmacological support ( indeed any meds for children should be being supervised by a psychiatrist )
 
Indeed! Palace Hotel in Dubai,

Not actually staying there this time round, but stayed there on our last visit and loved the place. We were in the Dubai Mall, which is right next to it, so we decided to go over and check if it as still as stunning as we remembered.

The only thing that has changed is the color of the rose petals in the fountain; they were white last time around.

4.2 for me on this bonkers-busy day. I overslept and was woken by the phone ringing. Don't you just hate that?

Hoping on Monday to get tests underway as it's the really violent headaches, eye pain and since the other day stabbing chest pain now, not eating and nausea!
