Hi pasha my morning reading was 16.5 last night I had a hard time because my reading was 33.3 thanks for asking
I do believe you're right...I eat some carbs at breakfast time though I've tested my limit...I do think as its quinoa you enjoy it is worth trying. Mayb half what used to be your usual portion at first. Our tolerance are all so very different I believe It's best to try and test for yourself
Don't question it, just be happy...I don't seem to get the liver dumps.
Why?
Tomorrow is another day..This morning fasting 16.9 terrible
It is not revolting, it's lush....but I only use a large teaspoon of butter and coconut oil... it is like a very creamy latte, without the sickly thing that goes with milk..It sounds revoltingBut I will try at some point but am calorie restricted at the moment.
Well done! Thank you, that's brilliant...I got some eclipse photos in the cloudy conditions in south Devon, http://www.diabetes.co.uk/forum/threads/lunar-eclipse-who-will-be-watching.73960/#post-804961
Here's the 'smile'

....can't stop singing it now, darn it...If you don't start humming this song after reading this you're not human (or you've never heard of the waterboys)..........
........."I saw the crescent
You saw the whole of the moon
The whole of the moon"
Weehhheeeee!
Cool! Thank you... was supposed to go to a farm yesterday where I was hoping to pick up some live culture, but wall-to-wall thunderstorms put paid to that... I can get live goat's yoghurt so maybe I can start with that and make my own...Hi No problem making it with goats' milk. It tastes much better . Just add one spoon of milk powder to the mix if you like it thick and "greek" style.
Cheers
You'll get there for sure - you have worked wonders already...That's my goal susikav
Very well put Mike... perfect... sometimes we forget what we're aiming for and become complacent... a gentle reminder to us all to never stop striving, or the monster will appear again...As an addendum, Pasha got this right. Running into double figures is not good at all so you should see your GP. You need to aim for single figures and do what it takes to get there. Trust me, others here have done it and their change of life has been astonishing .... I STILL shake my head at what they've done. Massive commitment and they're testament to a goal many others ignore.
I was NEVER overweight but lost 18 kgs in 3 months (89 to 71) simply because I was told to do so .... and lost it by walking morning, noon and night.
It was hard work (it always is) and a 14.4 reading for me (once and once only) scared the living daylights out of me as I KNEW if I kept that up, I might develop complications that I would never visit upon myself or my wife. It is within you. Fight it.
My figures are now rarely above 6 and mostly in the 4s. You feel MUCH better, you gain strength, you derive an inner confidence you never knew you had and you lead a normal life. I'm no saint, no preacher and not peddling a book for sale. I am just me. But I am one who will NEVER be beaten by a condition that is under my control.
I didn't ask for it but it's "return to sender" from where I sit and I will NEVER give in.
Take care
Mike
