Thank you so much for this - you've dug a big hole for yourself I fear...

My goodness, you have a complicated routine - your numbers are not bad considering what you manage to do all week...

I had some beers watching sports
Naughty... beer is liquid bread... try a glass of red wine, white wine (with soda is good) or vodka/gin with a slimline tonic in a long glass with lots of ice and a slice of lime/lemon..

I like peanuts sable thanks
Yes, but only a handful - have some cheese as well - no crackers though.. Frozen grapes are wonderful - not savoury of course, but they satisfy a craving, and you don't eat as many as you would if they were in the bowl in front of you...

...but not honey-roasted and not too many... I sound like a wet-blanket...

Great result Merrylizzard1314 you must be as "pleased as Punch". [ Is that still said in English? ]
Yep, by us oldies..

6.3 again today... 5.5 the night before.... I have no idea what's causing it... I am going to fast for three days starting tomorrow and see what occurs... I woke sweating in the night, which is unlike me - does anyone know what it might be? ... menopause well past...

5.2 am after 7.0 last night.... dinner was extended as have started watching Breaking Bad.
Cold and wind in NE Fife this morning..... bahh!

How did you get on with the half?
Very well thanks. Almost didn't make it to the start on time. Yes changed clock etc but was still sitting here at 8.15 when the race start was 9.30! Not sure what was going on there? Mental block or something. Anyhow made it just in time for the off and I mean just!

Weather was terrible but very enjoyable run. Aim was just to plod round at 5 mph which is going to be my marathon pace. So achieved that - time was 2 hours 28 minutes, hamstring came through ok and feeling strong at the finish. Even the fuelling plan worked - 50g peanut butter in a small, knotted freezer bag x2. Didn't even touch the pork scratchings but very enjoyable on the way home they were.

2 weeks to go now.

We're you having a 'nutty' nightmare?

Nuts - get some!
