Type one diabetes and ibs...

Hi all, is there anyone else out there with ibs aswell as type one diabetes. Are there any tips to try and prevent a flare up of it.

Hi have been diagnosed with ibs about 6 months ago. Was prescribed tablets to take 3 times a day with meals. seems to be helping so far. Have you been given any meds for it ?

Hi

I was told i had IBS for years, turned out I have celiac disease, doc still says i get IBS symptoms but now have to take a gluten free diet too. This is another condition associated with diabetes. Doctors can do a blood test to check some antibodies, hope this helps.
 
Hey thanks for the replies, I've had the bloods back with the all ckear, snd told it's deffo ibs, was given some pills to help with the dihorea side of it and ive been on anti sickness pills for more graines and was told to continue taking them, basically I have to wait for it to flare up begore I can do anything.
