Welcome to the forum. How have you been doing since diagnosis? I just did my second 3 month test today so will know a bit more next week.Have you kept track of your numbers and altered diet any?
I'm sure you will get good advice and support here.

Hi,
I was first tested for HbA1c: 7.4
The second time is 6 months after HbA1c: 6.7
The 3rd time is 6 months after HbA1c: 6.1
And I was assigned to take 1 tablet of Glucophage XR 750mg daily and 1 tablet of Rosuvastatin 20mg
Every day I exercise 60 minutes by doing light jogs
Do I need to stay on medication for the rest of my life?

As for medication that is the realm of qualified folk but i would say on the info you've given you are doing very well?
Think id be getting appointment with GP asap and ease any uncertainty. Write down all your questions and dont leave til all addressed to your satisfaction and a plan in place for future health.
