Hiya everyone. I'm new here and awaiting my blood results on mon. I had gestational diabetes, my son is now 9 months old. The other morning I had wat I believe to be an insulin spike as my blurred vision and shakes went away once I ate. I began testing my blood sugar levels and they were as follows

6.8 6.8
6.8 8.9
6.5 still go tonight's to do. Any thoughts and advice is welcome

Welcome to the forum. When are you taking your blood readings?

Thank you. First thing in the morning then 1 hour after my teatime meal. That's wen I was told to test when I had gestational diabetes

Your numbers look fine to me, but I am not a doctor. Someone will likely be along soon who can give you more help.

1 hrs after a meal is likely to be your highest point. Most normal time to test is 90 to 120 mins when you’d hope to have closer to pre meal readings. Under 7.8 at that later time is normal. https://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetes_care/blood-sugar-level-ranges.html you are well within that.

it’s blood glucose drops that usually produce those symptoms (hunger as often as not in non diabetics) not insulin spikes which are rarely felt at all.
