I am a currently studying product design at the University of Sussex and for my degree course will be undertaking a major design project of which the focus will be on design for Diabetes.
The project should lead to a design of a new and innovative product that would help a diabetic. I have had a few ideas about what the final product might be but would appreciate help with some further research that could inspire some new ideas for products or improve/support my existing ones.
I have had type 1 diabetes for the past 6 years myself but I am interested in finding out about other people’s experiences and the difficulties they have faced with diabetes. I am interested in any areas of diabetes treatment that you think require attention or improvement as well as situations where diabetes has been a problem for you and perhaps I could design a solution for this.
I would be grateful for any help you could give me as it would greatly assist my project.
