Hi, i am not a diabetic, i have a blood condition called neutropenia and recovery after illness is slow. i am finding my sugar levels are a bit unstable. i feel symptoms of a hypo with a count of about 4.9 and i shake and get a fuzzy head. i take on sugar and it goes up and down till it levels out. i have a family history of type 2 diabetes on my mothers side. i have had blood tests and i fall within the normal range so no one is interested into looking into things further. i am finding life quite miserable at the moment as the hypo makes me feel terrible. i am trying to manage it as well as i can with food. Does anyone have any tips for me.

I don't know much about your condition, however when I first started getting my blood sugar levels down I was getting false hypos with a blood sugar above 5. I had to ignore these until my body got used to running
What are you using to monitor your blood sugar? Maybe using a CGM (continuous glucose monitor) for a couple of weeks would give you a better understanding of any spikes?

I am using a finger prick glucose testing machine. I seem to remain pretty stable overnight at the moment, its the mid morning dip after breakfast that is causing me problems at the minute.
