Unusual BG highs

Just wanted to see if anyone has had any unusual BG highs after starting the combined pill. At the moment my BG's are running from around 15-28. Felt so rough today had to go to the doctors and they have now upped my gliclazide so am taking 750mg of metformin 3 x a day and 30mg of gliclazide 3x a day. They rose up to these numbers about a month ago when I started taking the pill. Am very strict and eat the same things every day to keep BG down. Feeling so lethargic and rough, also a little worried about them being so high.

Am eating all the things that I should do. Being careful and not eating anything out of the ordinary. That's why I don't understand it.
