Getting old and diabetese
I have been unwell for the past week and have found it really difficult to eat but have come to a stand still today and finding it impossible. So far since waking I have had a weetabix in milk, my tummy is rumbling with hunger but everything I think of to eat makes me feel queasy. Any suggestions and is it going to do me any harm not to eat, I'm type 2 diet controlled

You know we aren't doctors and can't diagnose you. It could be anything at all. Have you been to your doctor? If not I suggest you make an appointment as soon as you can. You can't go on not eating.

Hi @poohtiggy,

Sorry you are not feeling well.

You need to keep the fluids up.
This site will help you,

Never stop your Diabetes treatment

  • Continue taking your tablets.
  • If you have been supplied with a meter by your diabetes team to monitor your blood glucose.
  • Contact your diabetes team for advice on testing when you are ill.
  • Drink at least five pints of sugar free liquids, especially water, a day.
  • Try to eat your normal diet.
  • If you are unable to do this, replace your meals with fluids. Try to take a small amount every hour if possible. Here are some examples of how much to take:
Each of these contains approximately 10 grams of carbohydrate:
