Unwell :(

Since being diagnosed i have been lucky enuf not to feel unwell..... Until now im full of a cold and think i may have a chest infection so off to the doctors i go tomorrow but i have started to feel nauseas in the past hour nd breathlessness is becoming worse any advice on wat to do would b much appreciated

Hi Twinks so sorry to hear you are unwell and here's to a speedy recovery. Do make sure you are testing sugars more often as they can go high and if you are Type 1 remember to adjust your insulin accordingly. Don't wish to alarm you but breathlessness and nausea can be symptoms of DKA, but usually you will have other symptoms, but maybe worth having a little read up to be on the safe side.
