Are you still feeling unwell Ally, or whilst there is absolutely no denying your numbers are too high, are you more hacked off with the lack of support and communication from your pratise?

I feel for you. I'd be having a tantrum in your shoes - and that's not pretty! I wish I lived closer to you.

Do you have patient access at your surgery? You have to take in id to the surgery, then go home and register with the number they give you on your PC, then you can look up your health records, medications, and test results.

I Don, t feel too bad at the moment, I, m more annoyed with the he practice

No I Don, t

Am getting annoyed and fed up, I still feel unwell, my blood test results were at the surgery Wednesday morning. Fair enough my gp has Wednesdays of but I phoned twice yesterday and just phoned now to find my gp has, t looked at the results. He is Apperently doing the afternoon surgery in the next village so won,t get until Monday at the earliest to look at them. With them he way I feel, I think sod everything and I couldn't, t get into see a gp and have been trying for 4 days.

@ally1 I rely heavily on the nurses. Are you closer to any of the nurses in your practice? You definitely need a medical 'friend'. Are you in a rural area where gp cover is part-time?
If your cover is sub-standard you need to put a complaint into the practice manager.
Your right to complain. Your in need. We can see that so should they.
@ally that victoza doesn't work for everyone. Although I wish I was on lchf when I was given It. Just out of curiosity.
I get more out of lchf than most things.
I'm thinking of you and hope they sort you out very soon.

yes it's a small rural surgery so the Dr's are part time

Ally - I would be very surprised if your GP couldn't access your records from another, connected surgery. My thoughts are the system is probably run a bit like the login we have here for the forum (only maybe a bit more security).

Could it be worth one final call to the surgery for the week? If they're unhelpful, I would consider telling them how unwell you feel and that you are considering going to A&E, as you need someone over the weekend.

As I understand it, patients making unplanned visits to A&E incur a cost to your practise, so that could maybe get some action, if his budget ,is going to be hit.

It all seems a bit rubbish to me, really.

Hiya Ally, sorry to hear you feel so rough. Stelazine is an awkward one, I've got some experience of this and know it's hard to get the balance right. I was wondering though (and you know I'm not having a go!), how are things going with the meals and snacks? If you're feeling "off-key" mentally, diet can take a back seat, is that happening to you at the moment? Do you think that might have something to do with the levels rising too?
Maybe tweaking what you're eating (and don't worry, everyone struggles sometimes - I've had the week from hell) can help to get levels lower, so you can physically feel a bit better, that may help your mood too. Those numbers are high, and you must be feeling rotten, my daughter always used to get in a really bad state when levels were high. Unfortunately they were high most of the time but anyway..

Can we help you in any way? No pressure of course, and definitely no judgements x
