I would endorse that on the basis of my own results over my first 12 days of doing low carb (which they may not advise or even tell you about), plus a week more than that of half an hour of brisk exercise each day (which they probably *will* advise). I lost a stone before diagnosis so we won't count that, but I have lost nearly half a stone since. (Have not yet discovered how I should prevent myself from losing more, since I am now about right!). Plus all results during the day below 7.2 now. Mostly 4s and 5s and some 6s after meals.
So if you don't like the advice, come back here, search around and find a different way that suits you.
