My control has benefited a lot my hba1c is 6.9 which is the best its ever been.
I am finding myself putting on weight though my nurse says its because of me previously weeing all my nutrients out.
Does anyone have any tips i cant seem to fight the weight gain.
Next re my urine. It seems to be a darker colour and smells more than previously. Ive done some urine tests and all seems fine there. Could this be a factor of me not going to the loo so much these days and as such the urine sitting in my bladder longer and creating the smell?
I know its a pretty disgusting subject but i wonder if anyone has any advice experience?
Thank you. It has been like this for a few months now. When they say the colour test is that when its in the sort of toilet mixed with the toilet water?

What is your weight and height? There is an unhealthy cult of thinness in our society, so people can often rejoice when they lose weight due to illness and get upset when the weight returns to normal. Most likely, your body really recovers by gaining weight, because a sharp weight loss is a symptom of T1, but there is nothing good about it, because we lose weight due to the fact that without insulin, our body does not absorb nutrients from food.
i am just under 6 ft 2 and i am 95 kg
I am not obese or worried about being slim its just i can see a notable change in weight retention. I have only put on a couple of kg but i am concerned about the direction of travel.
