I have a colleague at work who has been type 1 for 20 years or so and she came to ask me a question the other day as she knows I read a lot more than she does about diabetes.
She said she has started to take multivitamins recently and ever since her sugars have been much lower than normal.
She stopped for a couple of days and they went back up. I really didn't have an explanation. Has anyone else experienced this??

I don't think i have (T2, diet and exercise).
But i am very interested to see what everyone else has to say!

What multivit does she take, do you know?

There are a number of vitamins/minerals that may affect insulin sensitivity, though it would be hard to pick which one (or even combination) might give such an obvious effect.

I found this of supplements ranked by evidence of studies to be quite helpful:

Taking a wild guess, I'd suspect maybe chromium or magnesium. Seems that magnesium deficiency is quite widespread.
