Don't get drunk;enjoy the most beautiful city in Europe. Look in a guidebook and decide in advance what you want to see and do so on foot. The city is compact enough for that. The steep slopes and flights of steps will keep your blood sugars down. You'll need to think about what you're eating, because there can be a LOT of carbs. They do sell an alcohol free beer, which my husband says is quite acceptable. The drink/drive laws allow zero alcohol. [I don't like beer and don't drink]
It may surprise you that the citizens of Prague don't like groups of drunks messing up their city. In fact on a Saturday night often the citizens stay in to avoid drunken Brits.
If you fancy a restaurant in the Od Town Square, eat inside. The bill will be half what you'd pay to eat in the outside area. Don't go up the clocktower unless totally sober. It's a long way down! Last time i went up with my daughter, when she was a child, I held the back of her coat the whole time!
This is my home city and I love it!
