That's really hard, to try to do all the right things and look like you've failed. But it isn't failure because this is still very early days and you're just trying to find the right balance of type of food, medication (your profile says oral so it can be adjusted presumably) and exercise. So don't lose heart. You could discuss this with your GP if you're worried, or you could try a few different things until you get to see the dietician. But also, someone will be along soon who knows more than me and maybe can point to something you can change now. Just don't give up. I've been at it a year and managed to normalise things to a great extent, though diabetes never goes away. You'll get there!
