Weight gain....

Does insulin cause weight gain in type 1 diabetes ????
I'm using Actrapid before every meal and tresiba once @ night...... Is there anyone who's on these insulin??
 
Insulin by definition is how you absorb sugar in your blood. so yes it causes weight gain, but only relative to what you eat. since i cut back and low carb ive lost 3 stone, with low carb i can take a lot less insulin and still maintain control
