Weight loss injection

Have you not been referred to your local NHS diabetic dietician ? They can show you how to loose weight the healthy way.

I have been on Ozempic for almost a year & the side effects have been horrendous at times but not consistent. It did lower my blood sugars a little but I have lost NO WEIGHT ! Now we have supply problems , I have been on 0.5 instead of 1 mg for the last 2 months , this week my pharmacy have been unable to source any stock so i'm left without any or any substitute . Pretty sure Ive been through every diabetic drug in the pharmacy ! I am feeling so fed up . I hate diabetes !

I’m in the US and doubt I’ll have access to Wegovy for awhile, according to my pharmacy. My weight loss has hit a plateau, so I’m frustrated. I’ll have to come up with a solution on my own, as I have 21 more to lose.

I really cannot get my numbers I am on oral semiglutide just about to start my third month but my problem is steroid induced. I have to be on these steroids and they are making me swollen and they fight with the semiglutide which cannot seem to take bg down to good numbers either because of the steroids..
Not sure they would be suitable for type 1 as they rely on your own pancreas to pump out some insulin.

Oh my? You are correct. Those steroids drive your BG up! I had that happen when I got a big shot after a yellowjacket attack. I had to substantially increase my insulin. Man, there has to be an option I would think.
