Went to a DUK event today!
It was about a new multi discipline centre expanding into the area.
The event itself was good and I look forward to it being successful :thumbup: :thumbup:
The downside was the DUK catering.
When I booked I asked if Low Carb could be catered for - Yes sir
Result: had to scrape the fillings off the white bread slabbered with "I can't believe its not toxic waste(other low fat spreads are available)" to eat anything
As for the "swiss roll" and profiteroles with chocolate sauce I had to resist temptation :lolno:
Honestly, a few lettuce leaves and slices of tomato with the slices of meat would have shown that they had the slightest idea of low carb catering :crazy:
