Morening all, planning my road kill dinner at this moment in time.
Relaxing day at home today....did a little gardening but ran out of energy so ended up doing my sewing instead....
....plan for tomorrow is to walk to local hospital for an X-ray....doctor marked it as ‘urgent’ which means I can turn up at my convenience and sit and wait for it to be done rather than book an appointment which may be weeks away....the million dollar question is ‘what time to go’...can be anytime between nine and four....and on a Monday.....I could be some time ....will go prepared with food, drink and book to read.....
....blood test (fasting) booked for my birthday next Monday......at least I will remember my date of birth when asked........what else would I be doing on my birthday morning....
....hope everyone has a good week whatever you have planned and whatever the weather....

Well its a sunny day for a change. I meant to do some washing but forgot so it will have to go through the tumble dryer when its done.
Later the daughter and kids will be here as usual on a Thursday. Having steak pie tonight, called find the steak. I did suggest I made a pie but hubby said 'it would be too expensive'. Ha ha
Have eldest granddaughter for a couple of days, she will go have on Saturday when I'm off to see the inlaws (lucky me)

I think grumpy teenagers are soooo stressful. My 11.5yr old is getting stroppy if I disturb his PlayStation game/stratagy.
Very hard work. Especially when he squabbles with immature 5yr old. He asked me today to not treat him like he's 4. I replied "then don't act like one". He grumped about that too.
I told him I expect him not to squabble with his very young brother at nearly 12yr old since his brother is sooo young and has complications.

wolfie i do exactly the same .me and tommy going away on tuesday and il spend all day cleaning and changing the bed .while on holiday i also clean room b4 maid comes im a bit ocd like that cant help myselfCan anyone relate to this?
I'm going away for 5 days next week so have decided to totally bottom the house ie give it a good clean 'just in case someone calls'. Now my stepson will be here so he will make a mess. My eldest daughter (the one with kids) will have a key so will be popping in, so there will be a mess from here and the 2 girls. And my youngest and her fiance have a key and will be popping in so they wont leave a mess, will probably chivvy the others into tidying it.
Am I certifiably mad or do other people clean their houses which then warrants the need for a break?
