What are you doing now and humorous banter.

Good morning all, it’s scorchio already up here in the not quite so dark and dangerous north.
I made Avgolemono last night - Greek chicken and lemon soup, thickened with eggs; a sort of mother and child reunion if you like. Very good and well worth a go.

I guess I should go feed the birds. I gave them some leftover lemon cake yesterday and the sparrows were flying of to their nests with cake for the babies. It's strange as I dont like birds but dont mind feeding the wild ones. So this morning they have fat balls and dried meal worms for a light snack. Teatime will be suet pellets. My uncle finds it amusing that the birds sit tweeting in the trees whilst I'm putting the washing out. I'm sure they are saying 'feed us'

I do have a couple of shopping bouts to do today. Off to the out of town shopping centre that I ordered some clothes from. The menfolk are going to be trading in computer games they no longer want. (And coming home with more rubbish no doubt)

And then food shopping which I dont want to do. I'd rather go and sit in the garden and listen to the birds saying 'feed us'

We went to Talkin Tarn this afternoon had a bite to eat and I managed to walk around the tarn path which is approximately 1 mile

My feet are stinging so maybe not a good idea

.....suddenly realised that I had somehow skipped breakfast this morning.....found my toast still in the toaster when preparing my tea....must have been distracted by something.................
