What are your favourite Fandoms?

I used to love the older Doctor Who's, William Hartnell, Jon Pertwee, Patrick Thornton and not forgetting the film, Doctor Who and the Daleks ( I used to hide behind the sofa, because they were so scary in the 1960's) with the wonderful Peter Cushing. I also like the Star Wars films, the early one with Carrie Fischer, Harrison Ford and Luke Hamill is the best

excuse me showing my age but what's a fandom?

I bought all the available seasons of Dr Who some years ago and loved them Not enough to remember the actors, though I'm not living a place with much on TV so have to resort to DVD's or downloads. Also loves Game of thrones and Startrek even though the old Star Wars movies were okay. New ones not my thing, really... I suppose fandom is being a fan of something??

No, I have to update my DVD collection soon Nothing on TV here I'm afraid, living in the middle of the South Pacific. My favorite part must be the Daleks and the statues that moves when you don't look at them. Scary!!

In that case - yes to Doctor Who. Love Christopher Eccleston, got a photo of him on my bedroom wall in the episode with the Slitheen. My favourite Doctor would be David Tennant, followed by Tom Baker, John Pertwee. Not too keen on the Matt Smith early episodes as I couldnt take to Amy Pond. My hubby is a very big fan of Doctor Who and has all the series and specials on dvd, along with geeky collectable 'toys'

We also like Star Wars (again lots of geeky stuff in our house), Star Trek (old, new and respective series). We have on DVD all of them and a few geeky memorabilia

Game of Thrones, Sons of Anarchy, Walking Dead
