Thanks, therower! No malt loaf around here, never even heard of it. Fruit I have, but none of your other suggestions. Yoghurt doesn't have a lot of carbs in it, does it? Or is the idea that the fat from the yoghurt will make the sugar in the fruit act more slowly? If so, do you think a piece of chocolate would work? Seems like the same trick but without the vitamins, an I do have chocolateI've always found malt loaf to be a good source of carbs, tastes good and you don't need a great amount. I usually use it before a gym workout if I'm a little low. Problem at the moment is I doubt you've got any lying around.
A banana and some peanut butter?
Full fat yogurt and some fruit?
Thanks! I usually have some bread. I thought toast was bread, but toasted. But I'm not at all sure, it is an English thing I guess. Please enlighten me.Slice of toast?

suspected malt loaf wouldn't be big in the Netherlands . In theory you could have insulin on board for a good few hours. The chocolate will cause an initial spike but may well diminish before your insulin does. It's looking like it may have to be bread or cereal. Thanks, therower! Come on. Saturday night, you cannot just have one slice of toast!!!!!!Slice of toast?
My chocolate isn't nutty, but I am, so it might work! At least worth a tryI'd have chocolate if no glucose tabs in. Not a long lasting carb so nutty chocolate would last you longer. Is your chocolate nutty?
If I hadn't eaten already...Come on. Saturday night, you cannot just have one slice of toast!!!!!!
The toaster has to be full, it's against the law to activate a toaster half empty
Also it's against the law to an absolute disgrace not to put cheese on the toast especially on a Saturday night.
