soaps on telly and people talking about the characters as if they were real.
This is proof that even a load of experience doesn't give all the answers.
Yesterday afternoon, I was sitting reading. It was raining outside. and just started to feel awful. BG machine was out of reach, so called for husband, who made me a Marmite sandwich. A bit later, perhaps 20 minutes, when he went upstairs and I was feeling a little better, he brought the machine down( 4.0) It must have been much lower before the sandwich, because I don't suffer symptoms at 4
I hadn't taken anything to cause the drop. Had a normal lunch, was sitting in a rocking chair quietly reading.
any ideas? that's the first sandwich I've had for years and I eentually ended up over target a 7.3
I'm fine this morning.

Sometimes it is just 'one of those things' Hana. For instance my first reading on waking yesterday morning was 1.9. I felt fine but had no insulin with brekkie.(Two rashers of grilled bacon in one slice of seeded bread, after first correcting hypo obviously) Had a barbie with less than 5 carbs I reckon for lunch and again no insulin. Felt fine all day. Have had quite a few headaches lately though and mostly my readings are fine but once or twice I've gone down to 1 something without realising. It's all a learning curve and just as I think I've got on top of things I get a reading (high or low) that is unfathomable to me. Certainly the less insulin I have, the fewer hypos I have and I thought I'd got my ratio right but I guess I'm still learning.

I confer with Chocoholic, Its just one of those things. I play alot of sport and i have a phenomenon whereby i can do my bloods just before playing a football match (they will be around 7ish) i wont eat anything before playing, and then straight after football ill do a test and my count will be 15+ then an hour later it will sink completely to below 4. Just one of those things, all bodies act differently, not everything is by the book.
