I had a call from the surgery today with the result of a blood test. It wasn't my GP but they told me my blood sugar was 57. They said my GP would be in touch. I'm guessing it won't be with good news - but I haven't a clue what this means. Any ideas?
57 is probably the result of an Hba1c test. It's not good but not disastrous. If it's over 48 then you are diabetic. You can bring this number down with a bit of care with your diet. Go and see your GP and then come back here.
