I've not been diagnosed yet but need a blood sugar meter I'm looking for any recommendations had one for sd codefree I believe it was called just need something simple to understand and reasonable price, not looking forwards to having to use it with my needle phobia lol
codefree sd seems to be the meter of choice as the strips are the cheapest around as you wont be able to get any on prescription since your not yet diagnosed

Acceptance of health treatment claims that are not adequately supported by evidence. I dislike it when people sell ineffective and even harmful alternative health products to exploit the desperation of people with chronic illness.
I find the Codefree quite easy, about the same level of complexity as installing dates & times and understanding the settings on my little camera, and I like looking at the graphs the meter loads on my pc.
Judging from Mrs DeeJay's frequent swearing I imagine her smartphone demands much more cleverness.
if ur on metformin u will have to pay...if ur on glic u should get them on prescription. That seems to b the way. I am on glic. No metformin it doesn't agree with me.
